Ovingham Level Crossing Removal
Ovingham Level Crossing Removal
The Australian and South Australian governments have announced $196 million towards the removal of the level crossing at Torrens Road, Ovingham.
The crossing is located near the fringe of the Adelaide CBD on Torrens Road at Ovingham. An average of 21,300 vehicles pass through this level crossing each day.

Apex was the sole supplier for Vac trucks, Coring, some service locating, backfilling and high pressure blasting for the green capping.
We worked alongside PTPA Alliance directly and subcontractors such as Hully, Outside Ideas, SGP Civil.

Military Road Upgrade
Military Road Upgrade
Duration: Project commenced October 2021 - ongoing.
Transforming Military Road (North Street to South Street) and Main Street (Seaview Road to East Terrace) at Henley Beach, as both road assets are due for renewal, presented us with the opportunity to upgrade them to better suit the needs and use of the street for the next 60 years.
Apex was the sole supplier for Vac trucks, coring, some service locating and backfilling.
We worked alongside BMD directly and their subcontractors.

Gawler Rail Electrification
The Gawler Rail Electrification Project (GREP)
Duration: 18 month project
The new 42km electrified line, together with the progressive introduction of 12 new electric rail cars, will provide passengers with a smoother, faster and quieter journey.
Apex was the sole supplier for Vac trucks, providing on average 3-4 trucks per day.
We worked alongside Acciona directly and then Coleman Rail on the final parts of the project.

The McConnell Dowell Diona joint venture (Water North) is one of three major framework partners collaboratively delivering SA Water’s $1.5 billion capital delivery program for the current (2020-24) regulatory business period.
